Thank you to all the folks who nominated their colleagues, supervisors or peers for a Husky Green Award! The Husky Green Awards recognize people who support UW's commitment to sustainability. The award "recognizes an exemplary achievement of an individual or team from the UW community, demonstrating leadership, initiative and dedication to campus sustainability."

This year we received 25 nominations and recently chose the winners of our Husky green award prize packs. Winners won a package containing coffee, chocolate and a UW mug. The winners of the prize packs were:

Karen Baebler: UW assistant director of athletics for sports operations
Lindsey Boisvin: Facilities Services sustainability communications intern
Chinah Jameson: Pre-sciences student
Kara Carlson: Housing and Food Services business and sustainability manager
Natalie Gray: School of Environmental and Forest Sciences student

We would like to thank the winners and ALL the people who nominated green superheros and who continue to further sustainability on campus!
