Housed in the College of the Environment and directed by Dr. Sean Watts, the Doris Duke Conservation Scholars Program is a conservation immersion program that aims to broaden participation within conservation and diversify what it means to be a conservation professional.

Claudia Frère-Anderson is the Director of the UW's Environmental Stewardship & Sustainability office and oversees communications, reporting, and programs in addition to supervising staff and many students and interns. Frère-Anderson started her career in the financial services industry prior to working in the nonprofit/social entrepreneurship sector in the San Francisco Bay Area.
