Meet the CSF team

The Campus Sustainability Fund (CSF) is a student-funded, student-run grant organization for student-driven sustainability projects on campus. Along with a student committee, the CSF has a trio of student employees who help the fund and its projects run smoothly. There are two new faces on the CSF staff this year - along with returning CSF coordinator Kyle McDermott, the CSF welcomes new Outreach Coordinator Whisper St Christopher and its first Project Development Intern, Ian Rose.

Meet new CSF coordinator Kyle McDermott

Kyle McDermott started as the new Campus Sustainability Fund coordinator this summer. He is pursing a Master of Environmental Horticulture at UW, and came to Seattle from Northern Arizona University, where he got his Environmental Science degree with an emphasis in Communications. In Flagstaff he worked as arts writer for a publication while also working on environmental projects, a combination that serves as an example of his desire to look for interdisciplinary approaches to solving sustainability challenges.
