Earlier this year, the CSF awarded a grand total of $105,367 to 6 projects in the first round of funding for 2015. One of the projects proposed innovative adjustments that would optimize the use of a gift Mother Nature likes to shower upon Seattle: rainwater. 

The Campus Sustainability Fund (CSF) is looking for two students to fill the brand new Creative Assistant and Development Assistant positions.  The Creative Assistant will facilitate design, implementation and production of various branding and communication endeavors for the CSF in the 2014-2015 school year, including but not limited to stickers, letterhead, banners, etc.

On Wednesday, October 22nd, a group of six speakers from across the University of Washington came together to discuss sustainability, especially as it relates  to their personal research and projects, as part of the SustainableUW Festival. Comprised of three different UW schools (College of the Environment, Foster School of Business, and the School of Public Health), the panel focused on identifying and addressing the barriers to solving the largest issues currently affecting sustainability.
