Creating a Sustainable Campus webinar series UW Sustainability is hosting a series of online webinars in 2024 highlighting sustainability work happening on our campuses.

These talks will be throughout the Winter and Spring quarters. They will be online-only, and generally on Wednesdays at 12 p.m. The webinars will be recorded and videos will be posted here after the events. Pre-register for the events to attend via Zoom. Green Building Standards

Wednesday, May 8, 3 p.m.

The UW has been working to update its Green Building Standards. These standards cover sustainability standards for new construction and building renovations, and will expand the scope of what is covered, including specific targets for energy, water and embodied carbon. UW Sustainability Director Lisa Dulude will go over the upcoming standards and how they advance the UW's sustainability goals.

Feb. 14, 2024 12 p.m.	Working toward Zero Waste with UW Recycling	Speaker: Liz Gignilliat, UW Recycling SCRAM (Student Cleanup, Recycle and Moveout) is a UW program that captures unwanted items from thousands of departing students who live in the UW residence halls.
