To recognize Earth Day, the UW Combined Fund Drive and the Whole U are hosting the second annual Earth Day Challenge for UW faculty, staff, students and retirees from April 13-24.

You can support 35 environmental nonprofits that work to preserve our planet by making a gift, donating your time and pledging to help the environment. The goal is to raise $2,000 by the April 24th deadline

There are three ways to get involved:

The Whole U and Combined Fund Drive are also sponsoring an Earth Day seminar on Healthy Living with the Washington Toxics Coalition. Learn how to avoid concerning chemicals in your household and some of the safer alternatives. Register today for the event, which will be April 21 from noon to 1 p.m.
