Environmental Innovation Practicum: A world of possibility.

There is still time to register for the Fall quarter Environmental Innovation Practicum. This course is designed to help you discover how entrepreneurial innovation is addressing some of our most pressing environmental issues, why sustainability should be embedded in the DNA of every business and the process involved in taking a great idea forward. The practicum is instructed by Chris Metcalfe, president and co-founder of Korvata, a company he was inspired to create as a student in this exact class. Each week you'll fill your toolbox with new skills and problem-solving experience while also engaging with guest speakers from multiple industries.

The practicum is 2 credits and takes place on Tuesdays from 4 to 5:50 p.m. Questions? E-mail Lauren Brohawn at brohal@uw.edu. For more information, see the Environmental Innovation Challenge page and click "Environmental Innovation Practicum."
