UW's Climate Change video contest is back! The School of Environmental and Forest Sciences wants you to create a short (3 minutes or less) video showing what climate change means to you.

Grab your camera, phone or tablet and show the world how you feel about climate change - your vision, your voice. Are you confused, angry, powerless or scared? Or hopeful and inspired to take action?

Video: Duwamish Lighthouse

As we prepare for this year's SustainableUW Festival, which will take place Oct. 17-23, we are remembering last year's events. The 2015 Huskies for Humanity presentations focused on connections to the Duwamish River, including restoration efforts and art installations. Video: Researching floating wetlands

UW graduate student Matt MacDonald has been researching man-made floating wetlands in a Redmond creek. The floating wetlands help create a space for plants to grow on the water, which improves water quality and habitat. Check out the video for more details on his project.

Friday video: Living a Zero Waste life

This Fall, UW Tacoma's Carbon Challenge presented a talk by zero-waste advocate Lauren Singer showcasing how people can live a zero-waste lifestyle. The event was one part of the Carbon Challenge, a Green Seed Fund project to encourage students, faculty and staff to take steps to reduce their carbon footprint.
