October is National Campus Sustainability Month, and there are many events happening across the University of Washington showcasing our sustainability efforts.

tweed rideUW Tweed Ride

meet outside Hansee Hall, noon
Join UW Transportation Services, UW Sustainability and The Whole U for a unique mid-day sojourn across the Seattle campus! Attire yourself in something timeless and tweedy and join the group to tour around our rustic campus by bicycle. The ride will begin at Hansee Hall at noon, and the tour will take around 45 minutes.
Open to all, especially UW students, faculty, staff and alumni. Register via Whole U (NetID required) or send an email to sustainability@uw.edu.

Professionals in a variety of sustainability roles will talk about their career path, followed by a meet and greet for students to talk with the speakers. This event is for students in all majors who are interested in learning how to connect their career path with sustainability.

Celebrate sustainability efforts across the University of Washington with dozens of UW departments, student groups and organizations. Learn about their sustainability efforts, and how you can get involved at the UW.

HUB 145, 3:30-5 p.m.
Come join as this exciting showcase hosted by UW Campus Sustainability Fund - CSF and UW Sustainability Action Network. The Sustainability Showcase will highlight innovative projects at UW that are working towards sustainability through many different disciplines. The showcase will also include a workshop session where attendees can discuss issues that matter to them with current UW leaders in sustainability.
