Now there are even more ways for members of the UW community to stay connected to the university's sustainability efforts.
Our three new channels - Pinterest, Instagram, and LinkedIn - are all going live this week! We have different goals and aspirations for all three, but collectively we hope to bring you more information, resources and fun about sustainability at UW.
We hope our Pinterest boards serve as both a resource and inspiration to help you find new ways to live sustainably. We’re bringing together design and usability with boards like, “Green your office” and “Upcycling Inspiration.” Ignite your taste buds and get some ideas for dinner with our “Meatless Mondays” board. There’s even a map with suggestions for hikes, bike trails and other activities to help #OutdoorDawgs connect with nature in our area.
Our followers on Instagram will get a sneak peek at how our office helps keep UW operating sustainably. Beyond that, we’ll also be highlighting local sustainable events and projects, Certified Green Offices and Labs, the growing ducks at Drumheller and more!
Keeping up to date on open positions will be easy with our new LinkedIn page. Not only will we post new job openings, but we will connect with past team members to collaborate on innovative and fresh ideas for the office.
In addition to these new channels, we'll also be keeping up with the old favorites. Like us on Facebook, follow us on Twitter, join us at Google+ and check out our YouTube. Let us know what you'd like to see on any of the channels, or use the hashtag #sustainableUW to share how you're living sustainably!
