Water conservation infographic

The University of Washington has used conservation measures and efficient buildings to cut water usage even as our campus population has grown. UW Facilities works to make UW’s water usage more efficient through programs such as expanding the use of automatic irrigation systems and installing sub-meters (which can help identify leaks or faulty sprinkler heads). The UW continually monitors, maintains and repairs our water systems to avoid waste through leaks, and has reduced the need for irrigation in grounds management practices.
