The Society for Ecological Restoration's UW Chapter is holding a Native Plant Sale this fall, with pickup dates over the next two weekends (Nov. 7-8 and 14-15).
The Society for Ecological Restoration - UW Chapter works to promote ecological restoration and bring students together around this goal at the UW. SER-UW organizes restoration volunteer work parties across campus. This quarter, they're able to hold work parties in groups of five people or less.

In conjunction with the manager, interns will develop learning objectives based on individual interests and strengths, receiving credit for ESRM 399 or their school’s equivalent. The interns' time will be split between routine plant maintenance, integrated pest management, nursery infrastructure projects, helping with weekly volunteer work parties, and individual projects.

The Society for Ecological Restoration - UW Chapter is hosting its annual native plant sale this Sunday, May 7, at the Douglas Research Conservatory next to the Center for Urban Horticulture (3501 NE 41st St.). he sale goes from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will have more than 40 different native plant species available. Cash and credit cards accepted.

At 15 feet tall, the new hoop house for the Society for Ecological Restoration's UW Chapter (SER-UW) serves as a reminder of all the hard work 50 student volunteers put in over the course of six days.
Working eight to ten hour shifts, students from UW’s Construction Management department, Sigma Lambda Chi and volunteers from SER-UW set out to construct a 30 foot by 48 foot hoop house at the Center for Urban Horticulture. Now, the student run native plant nursery has room for about 5,000 plants in the hoop house.
