Climate Action Plan (CAP) Then and Now
The University of Washington first published its Climate Action Plan (CAP) in 2009 and regularly publishes progress reports on its carbon reductions goal: to reduce emissions 15% below 2005 levels by 2020, and 36% below 2005 levels by 2035. Recently, the UW analyzed potential carbon reduction actions and evaluated them based on factors such as potential for carbon reduction, and financial and political costs. The findings are published in the Marginal Abatement Cost Curve.
